3D Framed Family Hand Casts

Framed family hand casts are created using a gentle technique involving a non-toxic/skin safe moulding material. The casting process only takes around a minute and captures every detail of skin texture, joint lines, palm lines, fingernails and jewellery.

After you leave my studio, meticulous care and attention is given to turn these moulds into plaster ‘sculptures’ of your family's hands. They are hand painted in your choice of colour, replicating real metal castings at a fraction of the cost. Your finished casts are then displayed in a frame combination of your choice.

3d cast colours include: gold, silver, bronze, pewter and pearl white.

Frame colour options include: black, white, oak, gold, silver, bronze, rose gold glitter, vintage blue and vintage pink.

There are 19 different mount board colour options, used for the background of the frame and the front border. These include: dark grey, mid grey, gold, silver, bronze, champagne, deep pink, pale pink, mustard, daffodil yellow, pale sage green, apple green, baby blue, royal blue, navy, black, white and ivory.

The metal name plaques come in black, white, gold silver or bronze, and can be engraved in arial or script font.

These frames can be created with sibling hands, parents and children, and multi generational combinations.
